I knew Lou only from Future Fitness. He was there about every morning at about 5:30 for an hour on a step machine. I would often be next to him and I enjoyed hearing about his farm. He seemed to love the farm, all except the horses that would kick at him. I heard about his funeral after it happened, so I'm sorry that I missed it.

I was so sorry to hear the passing of Louie today. I met Louie at the gym as we went to the same spin class together. He brought much laughter to the class as Louie was Louie. He had such a love for his farm. This morning at spin class we dedicated the ride to Louie. Black ribbons were placed on each of the spin bikes. My prayers go out to the family. He will be truly missed.

Louie was a great friend to me, always willing to help me in any way he could, and always making me laugh. He was my sparring partner on politics and religion. We enjoyed rides to the Farm-Rite, an occasional lunch at the Wagon Wheel, talks about our dogs, our familes, and the horse people. I will miss hearing his silly jokes, and I will miss his company. My prayers go out to his family.
